LEGO Brings Paul Walker’s 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline to Life

Fast and Furious fans can now build a LEGO replica of the 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R, which was driven by Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) in 2 Fast 2 Furious.
The 319-piece LEGO replica is available for purchase on the LEGO website and was released under the company’s Speed Champions theme. The brilliantly detailed set also comes with a Brian O’Conner minifigure, giving fans the option to faithfully recreate scenes from 2003’s 2 Fast 2 Furious using the LEGO set. Released as “2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34),” the replica is LEGO’s second Speed Champions Fast & Furious set after “Fast & Furious 1970 Dodge Charger R/T,” which gave Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his iconic muscle car the brick treatment. The 2 Fast 2 Furious LEGO set is currently on backorder, but can still be ordered for $24.99.

Directed by John Singleton, 2 Fast 2 Furious is the second installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, picking up with Brian O’Conner after the events of 2001’s The Fast and the Furious. Despite receiving mostly negative reviews from critics, the film was a box office success, grossing $236.4 million globally. The film is notable for being the only mainline entry in the franchise to not feature Diesel as Dominic Toretto. The most recent film in The Fast Saga — F9 — was released in 2021, with a tenth film currently in post-production and scheduled to come out this May.

First Fast X Trailer Is on the Horizon
Although Diesel teased fans throughout the tenth film’s production with behind-the-scenes photos, no footage from the upcoming sequel has been released. That will change on Feb. 10 when Universal debuts the first trailer for Fast X, with an additional teaser set to release two days during the Super Bowl. Fast X will see the return of Charlize Theron as Cipher, a criminal mastermind and cyberterrorist who was first introduced in the eighth film, 2017’s The Fate of the Furious. The upcoming film will see Cipher work alongside Jason Momoa’s villainous Dante — described by the Aquaman actor as a sadistic and androgynous bad boy — to bring down Dominic Toretto and his family.

Fast X will also feature several familiar faces, with Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Michael Rooker, Scott Eastwood, John Cena, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham and Cardi B all set to reprise their respective roles from previous Fast & Furious outings. They will be joined by franchise newcomers Brie Larson, Rita Moreno, Daniela Melchior and Alan Ritchson. Although her casting has not been officially confirmed at this time, Gal Gadot will also reportedly reprise her role as Gisele Yashar in the film.
